PICKY EATERS


Most children 2 to 10 are considered to be picky eaters. It is the most common feeding problem, where the child tends to eat too little or likes only certain food and refuses to try new foods.

FACTS ABOUT PICKY EATERS, THAT AS A MOTHER, YOU OUGHT TO KNOW:

1) A picky eater may consume plenty of calories from non-nutritional foods that may satiate the child but may not provide proper nutrition.
2) Global study reveals that 66% of children aged 2 to 3 are considered to be picky eaters, and the number rises to 87% among children aged 4 to 6 and 73% among children aged 7 to 10
