
1) You have fever with a stiff neck or severe headache; you may have a serious illness.
2) An old person, a baby or a person with long term health problems may have the flu.
3) You start to get signs of your infection becoming worse, such as fast or shallow breathing, a cough that brings up colored mucous or pain, fever and fatigue that are getting a lot worse.
4) You seem to get better and then get worse again.
